It's Friday! I went for a run, laid out by the pool, finished a project and got my nails done. What more could you ask for?! I am super excited for this weekend. For one, I only work at one job... five hours a day, no problem! Then I'm going to the EPIC Arizona Blogger Meet Up, totally excited to meet some awesome people, explore downtown, and have some fun.
In honor of the gorgeous weather here in Phoenix, I am wearing a dress and sandals and enjoying the perfect weather! But, when I was picking out my outfit I just could not decide on a pair of sandals. I have now decided that I need to up my sandal collection. So now I'm on the hunt for some cute sandals that can go with anything. Here are some that I've been eying:
I love the sandals that cover your ankle, I have a pair in olive and I want them in black too! I really like the tan/nude color of these flats, I feel like you could wear them with so much and it's something different than a white or black. The royal blue color caught my eye on the bottom pair. I'm sure I could find things to wear with this bright color. Then there are the black ones and the white (slip-ons are always a plus- so much easier to put on!) that go with everything. My black and white pairs that I have now have been through a lot, and have seen better days, I just may need replacement ones soon.
What style sandals do you like to wear? What color do you find yourself wearing the most?
I hope to meet some of you tomorrow, and if not, have a fantastic weekend!

Spring is in the Air
Sorry I have been kind of absent from the blogging world, it has continued to be crazy, even during Spring Break. I guess that's what two jobs and school can do. I did, however, have a full 48 hours of no class, no meetings, no work and it was beautiful, I got to take a little road trip and go to the lake! It went by so fast though, and now I'm back to work and homework. So when I get on my computer and I'm not doing homework I like to find fun stuff, or inspiring things. Here is a site that I love, and reading it makes me smile because all of these little things are so true!
This one is my favorite right now because it is so warm right now in Arizona and the temperature is perfect and you can't be mad in perfect weather, at least I can't! The sun is shining and all the smells of Spring are out (even if it isn't even officially Spring yet!)I got to go wake boarding at the lake yesterday, and despite the frigid temperature of the water, it was a beautiful day out and I had a blast. I am so so sooo sore today though!
I paid for my plane ticket to London this week, and I'm one step closer to leaving. Less than two months until I Study Abroad! Woo!
Work hard, smile big :D

Can't Decide
So I am looking into new digital cameras for a number of reasons. Mostly because I am going to Study Abroad this summer and need an awesome camera to capture all of the awesome places I'll see and because I really want to get more in to photography and have better photos in general.
Here are the ones I am deciding between, and I know there is a big difference between a DSLR and just a digital... and that is also what I need to make up my mind about.
It is mostly between the Canon Digital Rebel SLR and the Canon G12. The G12 is a lot smaller and would allow me to take it wherever a lot easier, but the DSLR is... well, it's a DSLR. It would let me use it more artistically and I would be able to do more of the manual focusing. And then the digital Canon Powershot has an awesome zoom, is portable, and cheaper!
Someone help me decide! What kind of camera do you have? Have any good insight, let me know! Help me decide!
Happy Spring Break! I hope you are doing more than just working like me, but at least the weather is beautiful here and I will be going to the lake Thursday! :]

Celebrate You
I'm trying to be as happy as possible with myself, and just be glad to be who I am. So I'm taking time to celebrate myself, and I think everyone else should to. Take a minute to think of all of the great things you have accomplished and all of the amazing things you're doing right now. Write them down if you please, or just think of them, and let them soak in. We all deserve a little appreciation, and self appreciation is the easiest most important kind. Reevaluate things. Is everything you're doing making YOU happy? If not, change it, get rid of it. Life's too short to be unhappy and I am trying to organize my life so that I am living for me, and being the happiest person I can be.
It is officially Spring Break, but I am working 13 hour days Friday and Saturday so as long as I can get through the next couple days, I can relax a little more. I might even get to sleep in past 8 am, hooray!
Here are some pictures from my Vegas trip, try to ignore the farmer's tan... it was a long day in the sun playing frisbee.
My parachute pants in the last photo I got in Texas this summer hand have been dying to wear, they were on sale for like nothing, and make my legs look like a mile long! I love how the outfit turned out, and was excited to wear it out on the strip.
Have a good weekend, relax, and celebrate yourself. :]

Tick Tock
No, I'm not referring to the Ke$ha song. The clock never stops, and I am going and going, and it has been hard to keep up. Sometimes you get overwhelmed, you break down, you cry... but then you get back up and everything falls into place and you realize that it is not the end of the world. Life goes on, time goes on, and you go along with it. After a lot of stress piling up on me, everything just kind of worked out. Yes, I am still incredibly busy and it is the week before Spring Break with mid-terms and papers like crazy, but things are just falling into place and I am so relieved. So I hope everyone can just take a breather and know that it all works out as it is meant to be.

Vegas Bound!
Sorry I have been so absent from the blogging world, these past couple weeks have been absolutely overwhelming! Starting my second job, staying on top of my mid-terms and classes, and being active in all of my organizations leaves me little time for even sleep. So I apologize, and this is going to be short because, well, I really need to get some sleep. Anyways, I am leaving for Las Vegas in the morning! I am sooo excited, I'm going for an Ultimate Frisbee tournament but we have lots of fun things planned. Basically just getting dressed up in cute outfits and walk around the strip, and maybe go on a few roller coasters. I absolutely cannot wait, and I need this little vacation more than ever.
So here are my items of the moment. I got this Dooney & Bourke purse no where else but my Grandma's closet, and on accident. I was looking for some slippers when this baby was sitting on a shelf about an inch thick in dust. After some heavy-duty cleaning and air-dusting, it was as good as new and my Grandma is more than excited that her bag is getting some use once again! I am so in love with it, and where it all the time!
I have mentioned my photography before, and I have gotten film for my wonderful film SLR, but just haven't had time to shoot anything. So I have it loaded and ready to go for some awesome pictures of the strip this weekend, even more reason to be pumped for this weekend.
I hope you all have a splendid weekend as I know I will!
