Tunesdayyy.

Happy First Day of Spring!!
I know it's late, but here are some tunes to check out on this lovely Tuesday. Just heard them, and have been listening to them all night.

Just realized I missed part of my online homework that was due last weekend, so now I'm getting that done before my trip. Boo! Trying to apply for as many internships as possible, catching up on my event planning for the rest of the semester, making my summer travel plans, and figuring out Vegas for my Birthday. Oh, how I don't want Spring Break to ever end!

So excited to leave for Tucson in the morning, and New Mexico this weekend. I see a lot of thrift store shopping, cooking, eating and lounging! How splendid, as long as I get everything done tonight! Hope you're week, break or not, is going just great!
Tune out to this new song and have a good night!

Dear you,

I think I posted this on my blog before.. but go look at this! It will totally make you grateful for your family, your youth, your grandpa, the house you live in... so many different things! I love it, totally makes you reflect on life. Pretty intense, I can't get over it.
I totally want to make one and submit it, I'll have to find a good picture to do it with.

I just finished my test a couple hours ago, now I'm working on paper 1 of 2. Can't wait until they're both finished and then it's SPRING BREAK! Finally! I want to stay in bed in the morning for an extra hour, stay in bed with the shades down reading Catching Fire, watching netflix and catching up on One Tree Hill. Then I'll be down in Tuscon visiting my sister and eating Pinkberry at UofA and then of the NM to visit my dad! I know I'll have to work the next like 6 days, but at least I won't have meetings/internships/homework to worry about when I get home! Hallelujah!

Hope you are excited for Spring Break/enjoyed yours/are currently enjoying yours!

Your Life's Golden Ticket

Getting ready for my Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory themed event I have tomorrow, I stumbled upon this.

So true! How amazing that we can choose what we want to do with our lives?! Just stop and think about that. I could choose to drop out of college and live in Alaska living off of berries if I wanted to. I probably won't because I value my education and think going to ASU and having internships and learning new stuff everyday is pretty awesome, buuutttt... I have the option! Just like I have the option to major in whatever I want, go into the career field I want, etc. Which is daunting to me most of the time because there are so many things I could see myself doing! Anyways, take a second and appreciate all of life's opportunity and I'll quit being so philosophical and enjoy my Sunday night.
You do the same!

Mmm Mmm Monday!

So I made these bean burgers a week or so ago, and they are so delicious I had to share!

Here's what I used!
1/2 cup yellow onion, chopped
1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 can pinto beans, mashed
3 tablespoons chunky salsa
cheese, slice for burger
bread/buns
condiments to taste!

I mashed the beans so they had a lumpy but slightly smooth texture, and added the breadcrumbs to thicken it up. Then mix the onions and peppers into the burger mixture, adding more or less to get your desired consistency. Add chunky salsa to moisten burger mixture and add more flavor. Season to taste with more salt/pepper/etc. Form into patties and put on greased skillet until both sides have been cooked. Top with cheese, add lettuce and condiments to bread or buns, whichever you have handy!

SOOO good! I made about 4 and kept the extra's in the fridge so I had a delicious meal whenever I needed it. Tell me what you think!

Have a lovely week!

Some nights.

Listening to the new Fun. album. SO good! Got back from my conference in Charlotte, NC. Had so much fun, but it was extremely exhausting we had to be at the conference center at 8am each morning and weren't done until midnight, one night it was until 2am! Phew! A lot of watching mediocre bands and awkward comedians, but saw some great performances also. I go to hang out with my Penn State friends and Heather, which was amazing! We created a Penn State/Arizona State alliance-super group. I had a lot of fun, eating and travelling on ASU's dime, exploring a new city (Charlotte is so cool!), and meeting a lot of new people. Glad to be back home, though, and wishing I had a day off this weekend to sleep in, but I didn't get so lucky. Spring break is only 2 weeks away, I think I can make it!

My internship with Arizona Foothills Magazine is going good, I actually go to write a few things for the magazine, and got complimented on them, which made me super excited! Classes are going well, trying to stay on top of things.
Currently:
Trying to organize my class schedule and get ready for Fall registration.(All ready- say whaaa?!)
Applying for summer internships, eeee!
Looking for new good music, my iPod is feeling a little dull
Applying for positions with PAB and (maybe) RHA
Deciding where I'm living next year
Living the good life!

Have a good weekend, try and get some sleep!
